Welcome to Lanham Christian School
We are a small school with a big mission. It is our objective to come alongside Christian homes and local churches as we provide high quality education from a Christian worldview.
Our Environment
If small class size with significant amounts of individualized attention is important to you, and you are looking for a school to reinforce the Christian values that you have taught your children, we ask that you take a closer look at LCS.

Admissions
LCS is a college preparatory day school that is a member of both the Association of Christian Schools International and the Mid-Atlantic Christian School Association. Lanham Christian is one of only two K-12 Christian schools in Prince George’s County that are fully approved by the Maryland State Department of Education’s Board of Accreditation and Certification.
Additionally, Lanham Christian School is a ministry to Christian families. There are many fine outreach schools that seek to bring Christian values to an un-churched student body. That is not our focus. We seek to partner with Christian homes and local churches in instilling a Christian world view in our students, equipping them to succeed in every aspect
of their development.
Our Mission
CHARACTER, COMMITMENT, COMMUNITY, CHRIST
While providing great educational value to our families, we have built a strong college preparatory academic program that flows out of our intentional discipleship ministry to Christian families.
Testimonials
What Parents & Students are Saying
“I just wanted to share with you that Amber definitely grew spiritually in the short time she was at LCS surprisingly in a hybrid environment. One of Ambers’s friends is going through depression and talking about suicide. Amber was able to minister to her and tell her that she should live her life because she has one and ask her if she was ok. I was very impressed and I certainly see the value of building character in our children which I loved about what she got out of LCS. We are working now to get this girl the help she needs.”
“If you had asked me a year ago what my chances of going to heaven, I would have said a 2 or 3 out of 10, but today I can tell you that without a shadow of a doubt I know I am going to heaven if I died.“
“Our family’s experience with Lanham Christian School has been very favorable. The staff is very dedicated to seeing each student succeed. They want my children to have a firm foundation in their walk with Christ as well as a strong academic experience. I’m so glad that we go to LCS!“
